Step 2: Using a pipe wrench tighten only enough to seal assembly.
Step 3: Check for leaks and continue to tighten if necessary.
Lester Says: "Do Not Over-Tighten as fitting may develop stress cracks"
Note: 3/4" Garden Hose fittings are not compatible with pipe fittings and will leak.
Applications Guidlines Galvanized Pipe:
1. Designed for use wit h water or air. It will resist rust and corrosion and can be buried.
2. Galvanized pipe should not be used with any other type of pipe or fitting except brass.
Lester Says: "Never use galvanized pipe to deliver natural gas or other industrial gases or chemicals"
Applications Guidlines Brass Pipe:
1. Designed for use with water, air and other industrial gases or chemicals it will resist rust and corrosion.
2. Brass pipe can be used with any other type of pipe or fitting that matches its capability.
3. Brass pipe is used mainly for small special applications that require a versatile conduit.
Specifications:
Temperature: -65° F to +250° F
